" I had an incredible time building my guitar on the course. I went in to the experience with not very much woodworking experience, Jerome is a great teacher and has a skill for knowing exactly the right level of assistance to give to make sure you end up with an incredible guitar. The workshop was a dream to be in and the area around Cardigan is the ideal setting in a stunning part of the world to spend a happy month in. I could not be happier with the guitar that I came away with, I am a professional guitarist living in Berlin and the guitar has served me well on many gigs already ! I learnt so many new skills and techniques with Jerome that will be forever valuable to me when it comes to building more in the future - which I intend to do ! Thanks Jerome "

“I've just returned home from a 4 week course, building a guitar at Jerome Duffell's workshop in Cardigan. I can't recommend this course highly enough! It's long been a dream of mine to build my own guitar, and i'm so pleased and proud of what I’ve achieved and I'm now the owner of a fabulous guitar. This is all down to my hard work and the knowledge and guidance of the luthier. The workshop is really well equipped and pleasant environment to work in. I now understand what it takes to build a high spec instrument. Jerome was really patient with me and inspiring to work with, he puts his heart and soul into every guitar he builds."

John Layton - Musician - Devon UK

“In short, guitar after guitar, Jerome consistently produces some of the finest, incredible instruments available.”
